Mr. John,

This story was complete propaganda—you know this, right? Does anyone believe that Putin would, after having the US freeze his assets (in our system), freely consider getting within 2 continents of the U.S. dollar again? It’s another hogwash story. The document the press got their hands on was a “what-if” fairytale some staffer conjured up at the White House.

If we give Russia there 350B back, Putin might consider.

Lavrov is giving endless interviews stating how it's over with USA and any Anchorage process. Perhaps even calling out Putin for naivete in continuing to try to make terms with great evil which is the USG/ZOG; at least as far a its allowed.

Russia-US relations are currently at depths of a low for Trump2 era. So yeah, seems like smoke...

The price volatility is entirely caused by the huge levered positions. Short term volatility, long term ramp. There is not enough supply for demand and there will not be enough supply for any foreseeable future.

Dude this was false

Unless Putin is a mental midget, he does not trust the USA or DJT one inch.

Putin has been working with China for 20 years on the BRICS plan, and there is zero evidence that has weakened -- aside from this leaked memo.

As Putin recently said, the "Vampire Ball" is coming to an end.

I am not too sure what this article has to do with the current price volatility of silver.

Nothing has changed. You still can't buy the stuff for love or money, and any agreement on natural resources between the US and Russia - if it ever gets off the ground - will take years to show results.

Too many obstacles for Trump to partner with Putin in addition to the ones you mentioned. The ultra right-wing Russophobic crazies who surround him. The end of the New START treaty. The CIA logistical support for Kiev nazis in Ukraine. The list is endless.

Besides I think that story to hold water if you consider the personnel involved. Most politicians in the West are extremely shortsided fixed to their legislative terms of of four or sometimes 5 years. Putin is pure strategy, as is China, former Soviet satellites like Kasachstan, Usbekistan, and the likes. You might count all the rulers on the Arabian peninsula, as they think dynastic. With long term perspectives and the wisdom that politics is all theater for power you can take a different angle of perception IMO.

My other esteemed source of analysis sniffs a Chinese whale who was caught red handed a few days ago and tried to push down XAG as much as possible before the opening of Shanghai.

My first impression is that - if true - this is a way to get the Donbas region in the Ukraine. All Trump has to do is back off from supplying Ukraine and the war will end by attrition, and there won't be any Russian withdrawals. Putin won't have to abide by any agreement at that point, including using the US dollar more in trades.

I agree. This is a positive development.

It's real. Google it.

They’re pragmatic in ways that look authoritarian. Killing of political opponents is something Putin is well known for and Trump is a few inches away from trying. Sending out a masked good squad to murder peacefully protesting civilians. While wearing masks. Violently overthrowing that capital and claiming the election was stolen. Publishing racist shit on social media. Covering up sexually predatory behavior by his oligarchy. Pocketing billions in bribes and not even bothering to hide it. It does look authoritarian, you're right.

There's a bit of truth in what you say, but, unfortunately, the democrats are much much worse
