Summer doldrums for commodities, blow-off top for tech
No point in mincing words. June was a tough month for commodities and short-selling, as the usual summer doldrums hit precious metals, oil, and copper (validating the old saying: “Sell in May and go away.”) Meanwhile, tech, fueled by the artificial intelligence mania, sent the broad markets into what looks like a blow-off top. Under the surface, though, a lot of positive things are happening.
