The problem with the release of government data is that it's not credible because the government isn't credible, and one reason it's not is because there's no accountability.
Republicans may think that "the economy" is the most important issue for the mid-term elections but I think it's more about trust and competence in government. Only about 20% of the population is benefiting from all the shenanigans, including the lack of accountability. The rest are not, and are really pissed at the lack of accountability.
If no one is at least indicted for something by the mid-terms I think the Republicans are going to lose big.

I think Andrew's arrest is more theater. He'll probably go to live with his mother at Balmoral. I knew it was all fakery from when I heard the first top-of-hour radio news story in DECEMBER of 2019, about a "new virus" in China. The one good thing about the scamdemic was that it was a litmus test for dangerous stupidity. It was a great opportunity to purge my life of people, who will no doubt be dangerous in our bizarre future. Stupid people are a danger to have in one's life.
Unfortunately some are my in laws . What helps is when we get together I say under my breath “ this is a low IQ insane person “ and then agree with them so we can eat . To your point ..I have no doubt that has Harris won in 2024 a “ climate emergency “ would have been declared and everyone would stay indoors again .
In recent years I've been shocked by how credulous, hence easily manipulated, a great many are in our society including most of my family members sadly. I've given up on trying to warn them about anything of substance, they simply refuse to think independently or do any research. They'd rather talk about the color of their new couch, the yammerings of some dimwitted entertainer, routine ailments, etc. (the conversations are mind numbing).
