AI can be a crutch that atrophies the mind, if you let it.

Example, I recently had a vendor tell me Chat GPT told him a result which he communicated to me in a project that will cost me more than 200,000 dollars. The particular figures he quoted were dead wrong. I wrote back to him that we will seek a different vendor from some that we have worked with successfully in the past.

The reason? If a vendor is going to use AI as gospel when it often fabricates and deludes, this is a vendor that does not possess the ability to validate information properly. Therefore the resulting project will have flaws and errors.

However, in the case of the two videos you post in this John, merely use the same generated voice for disseminating the content. On one hand, much of what the Asian Guy says about precious metals can be taken with a grain of salt, though some of what his channel says is actually factual and correct.

The second video about rational men choosing the life of less, his content is spot on in every single precise detail. The logic is validated and correct, right along with the catastrophic consequences for the system that has been built and carefully curated over the centuries.

There is no purpose for a stoic and rational man to pursue validation externally from anyone. His validation comes from within his mind and body and the action he takes which defines his purpose.

For this, who ever wrote the script for that second video, needs this message spread across the globe. For to truly be free and sovereign is not measured by the adoration of others, or the material possessions accumulated. Rather it is measured by the strength of a man's resolve and his stoic logic that guides his reasoning.

I'll believe it when I see it. At this point AI doesn't even mimic intelligence particularly well from what I've actually seen. However in addition to remarkable graphic and audio conjuring it is very good at making connections amid vast arrays of data hence often a powerful research aid which can save a lot of legwork; more evolutionary than revolutionary. On the negative side it is extremely resource consumptive. The technology relies on the clumsy brute force of probabilistic LLMs rather than any form of elegant and efficient artificial "intelligence". Though I won't claim to know I suspect we will find this technology is ultimately limited by asymptotic diminishment of returns, in which case AGI will prove fanciful.

Unrealistic AI prognostications, along with associated market prices, can be expected to vaporize in conjunction with inevitable collapse of the current financial mania.
